Chris Jordan, the pastor of the church northeast of Winnipeg, says movies and television glorify sex and he was concerned children weren’t getting information about abortions, unplanned pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases.
His son Caleb, 12, was among those signing a pledge.
Caleb says his commitment may be challenged as he grows up, but he says his virginity is something he wants to save for his future wife.
